You may dislike change.

This could be a change of seating plan, a new member of the class, a different teacher, a different teaching room, change of timetable, changes at home, different rules,  moving to a new school, staying away from home for the first time – or just a change of plan in general.

Thought might be: 

‘I can’t predict what will happen. I don’t know what’s ahead. What if I don’t like it?  I like it how it is.’

or maybe ‘ Everything that was certain is now uncertain – now I feel out of control .’

Change happens all the time.

Learning how to adapt to change makes us resilient and more flexible.

It means that when life ‘happens’, we can cope.
