Wellbeing Day 8

Look for the Good

Get a piece of paper and divide it into 5 sections. Label them:

  1. Waking up
  2. Morning
  3. Afternoon
  4. Evening
  5. Night

At the end of the day, go through each section and write down the small things that were good today. They might be ‘my bed was comfortable this morning’, or ‘the sun was shining’, or ‘I enjoyed a cup of coffee’, or ‘…. smiled at me today’.

Then go through each of the things you wrote and jot down how it made you feel. It might be ‘I felt liked’, or ‘I felt appreciated’, or ‘I felt safe’ for example.

Look back at what you have written. Can you see how many good things happened in a normal, ordinary day?
